The USA is an exceptional country; it takes exception to the Nuremberg Laws, the UN, any treaties signed (against the Constitution) including against torture (not turning over suspects of torture makes Obama in violation too) is also an exception. Being a hyper power is great because international law can’t and won’t be enforce against you. Too may are afraid or hope for a hand out.
